Multiplier Event in Focus – Unlocking the Essence of Erasmus+ Project Mob@Act!

The Erasmus+ project No. 2022-1-LT01-KA220-SCH-000089583 Mob@act aims to develop and refine shared methodologies for planning and managing learning mobility initiatives. It capitalizes on the opportunities provided by the new Erasmus+ program to promote physical, virtual, and blended mobility experiences across partner institutions.

Participants in the project come from various countries and institutions: Kaunas International Gymnasium (Lithuania), Liceo Scientifico A. Righi (Italy), Institut Cavall Bernat (Spain), Liceum ETZ Chaim (Poland), and UNISER SOC. COOP. ONLUS (Italy). As the lead applicant, Kaunas International Gymnasium plays a central role in coordinating the project.

Multiplier Event Overview

One of the project’s key activities is the multiplier event, held to showcase the project’s outcomes and discuss future initiatives. On October 14, 2024, teachers from schools across Kaunas gathered at Kaunas International Gymnasium to participate. This event was crucial not only as a closing ceremony but also as an opportunity to publicly present the project’s results, tools, and practices.

The event featured several key presentations:

  • Dr. Edita Vainienė, Deputy for Social and Educational Affairs and project coordinator, introduced the main project concept and the e-learning platform designed to support the project.
  • Teachers Emilija Ruzgaitė and Ignas Sirunavičius presented the project’s official website (www.mobact.eu) and the “Collection of Best Practices”, a comprehensive toolkit for learning mobility in general education. This document offers a range of practical methodologies to support mobility initiatives (Download here).
  • Julija Mažrimienė discussed the critical role of dissemination in project success, covering both theoretical insights and practical applications of sharing project outcomes.

Connecting Knowledge and Sharing Best Practices

The multiplier event primarily attracted teachers interested in launching their own Erasmus+ projects or seeking guidance on project implementation and dissemination. Kaunas International Gymnasium, as an experienced partner in Erasmus+ projects, provided valuable insights and received positive feedback from participants. The success of this event highlights the importance of knowledge exchange and collaboration in ensuring the continued growth of learning mobility initiatives.
